A look at The Place Catering…
Let us introduce the chef
Growing up in Israel as an Orthodox Jewish boy/man, traditional Jewish cuisines were naturally a part of my life, more importantly the highest standard of kashrut has always been a huge part of my life. I moved to San Diego from Boston with my wife and kids in the late 1990’s. When I was in Boston, I owned a Glatt kosher restaurant and it was no problem to find other kosher restaurants all over the city. So, I was very surprised to learn that San Diego did not have any options for kosher meals or groceries. At that point it became my goal to provide San Diego with quality tasting cuisines that also met the highest religious standards. I opened an all Glatt kosher supermarket in the heart of San Diego shortly after moving here. Since then, we have evolved into what we are today which is The Place Catering.
Our goals and your health…
In our current environment we are doing everything we can to ensure the safety of our clients as well as our staff. Our employees have their temperatures checked daily, they are required to wear masks and gloves while working and keep a six-foot distance from each other. We have set up many hand sanitizing stations and require that our employees wash their hands every 30 minutes for at least 20 seconds. While at events our employees take the same safety measures as they do in the kitchen, safety is our first priority!
